Located on the Kelly Creek Basin, part of the beautiful Mactaquac Lake. With it's many inlets, Mactaquac Lake is world famous for its Smallmouth Bass fishing. Landlocked Salmon, Pickerel, White and Yellow Perch, Bullhead and New Brunswick's newest sportfish, Musky fishing is available directly in front of the lodge, offering the incoming angler a virtual fisherman's paradise. Our upland game hunting is second to none as the forests are full of Ruffled Grouse, Woodcock, and Varying hare. All of which are abundant and make for a excellent day to spend a gorgeous autumn day. Nothing is as exciting as a wildly flushing grouse or the erratic flight of a Woodcock. All available within minutes of the lodge whether you are hunting an old fence line along an abandoned orchard, or walking a logging trail the experience will be one to remember.
With the abundance of small lakes, creeks, and the St. John River, we are able to offer some of the most exciting waterfowl hunting in the world. Once here our guides will drop you into the heat of action as our dedicated guides show you the top locations in the region.
Varmint hunting is one of the easiest combo hunts available, coyotes within the region are plentiful. Our guides can lead you into hot spots along old logging roads, fresh clear cuts, and abandoned orchards that continuously produce hair rising excitment.
The McIntyre Buck was harvested at this lodge in 1999 scoring an astounding 234 5/8 gross and 198 3/8 net making one for the record books. New Brunswick is known as a sleeper state and grossing some of the largest white-tail deer in North America.
